Welcome back home to you!  Congratulations on taking this step towards self-discovery and growth. Your therapy journal is a safe space for reflection, expression, and healing. Here, you have the opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a supportive environment and as a much-needed companion for your therapy sessions. Bring this journal to each therapy session so that you can record breakthroughs, thought-provoking questions, progress, and anything you feel you may still be stuck on.  Some journaling guidelines to be mindful of and to get the most out of this resource:  Authenticity: Be true to yourself. Write openly and honestly, without judgment. This is your space to express your thoughts freely.  Consistency: Bring this journal with you to every scheduled therapy session, whether it's weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Being consistent can enhance the therapeutic benefits of journaling and allow you to gain more connection to yourself during this healing journey.  Reflection: Take time to reflect on your entries. Consider the patterns, emotions, and insights that may emerge. Your journal is a mirror reflecting your inner world.  Self-Compassion: Treat yourself with kindness. Embrace self-compassion as you navigate through your thoughts and feelings. Remember, this is a journey of self-discovery, not perfection.  Your therapy journal is a powerful tool to record your sessions and embrace the journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Even when you pause or conclude your therapy experience, this journal will allow you to look back and review past concepts, celebrate victories, and be reminded of your progress.
